Anti-Wrinkle Injections

You should avoid the following for at least 4 hours:

• Rubbing or massaging the treated area

Although the onset of treatment is usually rapid (within 2-3 days), it can take up to 10-14 days to see the full effects of your anti-wrinkle treatment. To ensure you are happy with the results you have achieved we request you return for a review appointment and assessment at this time.

The effects of your anti-wrinkle treatment should last 3-4 months and therefore, to ensure you maintain the benefits of your treatment, it is recommended you have a re-treatment in 3 months time. There is also some evidence available to indicate that over time regular repeat treatments may improve the longevity you receive from your anti-wrinkle treatments.

Dermal Fillers

If you experience extreme pain, tingling, blistering, itching and or discolouration (white or blue) of the area please contact Dr Tass staff on 1300 DRTASS. Alternately if the clinic is closed please email us.

You should avoid the following for at least 24 hours after your treatment:

• Massaging or putting excessive pressure on the treatment area

It is also recommended for 2 weeks to avoid:

• Extended exposure to the sun or UV light
• Extended exposure to heat or freezing temperatures

It is recommended not to apply make-up for at least 1 hour after treatment.

While you may experience no side effects at all, there are minor side effects that you may experience: redness, firmness, swelling, bruising and tenderness at the treatment site.

You may experience more swelling the first morning, this is a normal side effect and the swelling will go down throughout the morning.
